We typically do not order delivery pizza. By "typically do not," I really mean never. But, it was a Friday night, and the kids and I were already home ready to watch a movie with no desire to head back out. I had just seen a note about Ken's Pizza Corner somewhere, and when I looked them up, it turned out they delivered to our neighborhood. Ding!
We ordered BBQ wings and two pizzas: one with sausage, pepperoni, and banana peppers; one with garlic, tomatoes, red onions, spinach and pepperoni. They were delivered within 20 minutes.
Let's start with the wings: my daughter did and never stopped :) They were huge, juicy and covered with sweet BBQ sauce with a touch of heat. Delicious!
The pizzas had a bit thicker crust that we prefer, but it was nicely crisp. The red sauce was tangy and (on the one pie) liberally sprinkled with minced garlic. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, with the sausage appearing more like hamburger but with a sweet/hot italian sausage taste. The pepperoni was also a bit spicier than typical -- which we appreciated.
Add all that to the fact it showed up to my door in record time, and Ken's is a winner!
